Trichomes solitary, yellow-green, very short, (5)-9-20 um long, ± 1 um wide, ± straight or variously curved, flexible, motile, not constricted at the invisible cross-walls (can be visible with staining!), not attenuated at the ends, disintegrating. Yellow-green colouration resembles the chloroprokaryotic genus Prochlorothrix.
Occurrence: Freshwater, benthic, epipelic on putrified mud; described from Flynderso Lake in Denmark, known also from Czech Republic and N Germany (near Hamburg).
