Forming mats in the liquid medium. Filaments entangled, long with colorless sheath, upto 16 um. Trichomes short to long, solitary, occasionally 2 in the one common sheath,
12-14 um wide. Cells short, slightly constricted, dark dirty green by color, 1-2 um long.
Taxonomic note: Since the location and habitat are unknow it is impossible to assign this morphotype to any existing species of Lyngbya.
