Eastern slopes of Sophiyskiy Ridge, valley of Sophiya River (right tributary of Psysh River). Near Lednikovaya ferma, rock outcrops and rocks on alpine meadow. Barbilohozia hatchery is very common and abundant, at the bottom of boulder in deep niche with entrance covered by fern stands, on rock.
