Kenai Peninsula Borough: south end of Engineer Lake, 8.3 mi SE on Skilak Lake road from Hwy 1, E of Soldotna. Fen developing via terrisrialization along lake margin, rich fen with Myrica, Betula nana, Menyanthes, Carex livida, C. chordorrhiza, Scorpidium etc. Open spruce undershrub-Sphagnum, on side of trail.
