On moist soil in disturbed floodplain habitats with Acer saccharinum & Salix sp. and subject to flooding from reservoir and creek. Dominants included Physcomitrium pyriforme, P. hookeri, Ricciocarpos natanswith grasses,Ranunculus spp. andother herbaceous plants.
