Johnson Co.: Iowa City, just beyond Nw corner of Elks County Club golf course at the end of Foster Road, along Iowa River. On slopes with north aspect and Limistone outcrops in forest dominated by Quercus alba, Q. rubra, Betula nigra, Ostrya virginiana in understory, Ribes in the shrub layer. Trillium nuvale in rather small patch just above floodplain.
