Tân Sơn District, Xuân Sơn Commune, Xuan Son National Park. Shrubby vegetation on the top of the mountain composed mostly by Rhododendron and other evergreen tall shrubs. The vegetation possesses transitional character between tropical and subtropical types and strongly affected by winds. It is developed over limestone conglomerate (commonly not pure limestone). Partly shaded mesic fallen decaying decorticated tree trunk.
