IOWA. Johnson Co.: Iowa City, just beyond NW corner of Elks County Club golf course at the end of Foster Road, along Iowa River. Elev. 650 ft. On slopes with north aspect and limestone outcrops in forest dominated by Quercus alba, Q. rubra, Betula nigra, Ostrya virginiana in understory, Ribes in the shrub layer. Trillium nivale in rather small patch just above floodplain.
