South Central part of the island, abt. 25 km south of Vostochnyy Town and abt. 175 km north of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk along the main North/South Hwy., just west of Vladimiroka and Zhdanko Peaks, in the Abies, Betula forest on the ridge below Zhdanko Mtn., on a decay class 4 rotten stump in part shade along the edge of the forest.
